I Am

I will not let terrorism scare me.
I will not let bigotry and ignorance define any religion for me.
I will not sit silently about who I am because you don't accept my true colours.

I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. I stand with the victims and their families.
I am a proud Christian. I pray for those taken and those who would cause harm.
I am a human being. My heart breaks for you.

The Change!

Hey guys! I know I haven't posted in a while, but hey, wifi is a series of tubes that always seems to mess up here. Anyways, I'm not here to complain about my terrible wifi.

So as you can probably guess from the title, I think it's time for a little bit of change in my life, specifically with my face. Don't worry I'm not talking about plastic surgery my face isn't *that* bad..., I'm talking about all the makeup I own but don't use!

So I was cleaning my room when I came across a box under my end table filled with the makeup I've gotten from friends, family Hi family♥, or just as samples.

Now I don't usually wear makeup, and if I do then it's just some mascara and a little bit of lip gloss, so I don't think it's healthy to have this much makeup

and not use most of it. I know for a fact that I've used most of it in theatre class, but I mean, I have at least 13 different shades of lipstick, 36 lip glosses, 40 eye shadows, 2 tubes of mascara, 2 kinds of eyeliner and BB Cream. I have tons of blush contour, eye shadow, and eyeliner brushes as well, so I thought why not start wearing some of it? Makeup shouldn't just be for fine arts, and honestly I thought the most entertaining part of theatre was doing makeup.

It's also the same thing about clothes for me. I own about six different dresses and three or four pairs of heels, but I don't really wear them. I know it's just now spring, but in the past I would wear black clothes and heavy jackets in the spring and now that I'm getting older I think it's time for me have a more mature sense of style.

Still going to keep my Y'all Need Jesus shirt because let's be real: I live by that motto.

Okay, so guess what?

Don't think the fun has to end - explore outside of your box and don't be afraid to feel like a QUEEN!

Always nice to have a good moral, yeah?

Stay sweet everyone!

The Books!

Hey everyone! Not gonna lie: it's been a real long time since I've had any kind of inspiration to blog about, but I was doing some browsing on Amazon earlier today and made the mistake of browsing all of their books, so I've been composing a list of books I want to buy and their authors, and I'm not good at book reviews so let's just see what Amazon has to say! Sidenote: I have noticed all of these books so far are from YouTubers.

1.) A Work in Progress: A Memoir by Connor Franta
In this intimate memoir of life beyond the camera, Connor Franta shares the lessons he has learned on his journey from small-town boy to Internet sensation—so far. Here, Connor offers a look at his Midwestern upbringing as one of four children in the home and one of five in the classroom; his struggles with identity, body image, and sexuality in his teen years; and his decision to finally pursue his creative and artistic passions in his early twenties, setting up his thrilling career as a YouTube personality, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and tastemaker.

Exploring his past with insight and humor, his present with humility, and his future with hope, Connor reveals his private struggles while providing heartfelt words of wisdom for young adults. His words will resonate with anyone coming of age in the digital era, but at the core is a timeless message for people of all ages: don’t be afraid to be yourself and to go after what you truly want.

2.) The Pointless Book: Written by Alfie Deyes, Finished by You by Alfie Deyes

To the delight of his thriving fan base, YouTuber Alfie Deyes extends all the fun of the PointlessBlog to his first interactive activity book! Fully illustrated and packed with a host of games, activities, and pranks, the book will encourage you to connect the dots and bake a cake in a mug; people watch and turn a page with your ear; draw a finger selfie; and play the ultimate basketball challenge. The book is a “thank you” to old followers and a “welcome” to new ones in a delightfully wacky activity book format. It also includes an exclusive Pointless Book app that chronicles Alfie completing the same challenges and includes never-before-seen content!
3.)The Amazing Book is Not on Fire: The World of Dan and Phil by danisnotonfire(Dan Howell) and AmazingPhil (Phil Lester)

Sidenote: I have read this book, I proudly own this book, and anytime I'm feeling a bit down I read this book again and feel better immediately.

From YouTube sensations Dan Howell (danisnotonfire) and Phil Lester (AmazingPhil) comes a laugh-out-loud look into the world created by two awkward guys who share their lives on the Internet. More than 8 million YouTube subscribers can't wait for this book!
Since uploading their first ever videos as teenagers, Dan and Phil have become two of the world's biggest YouTube stars. Now they invite you on a behind-the-scenes journey, filled with absolutely essential advice, tons of humor, lots of awkwardness, and TMI honesty that they will probably regret. Here's just a small sample of the fun surprises readers can look forward to:
• The inside story of that time they met One Direction.
• Excerpts from Phil's teenage diary.
• Reasons why Dan's a fail (so far).
• How to draw the perfect cat whiskers.
• Reasons why Phil was such a weird kid (back then).
• Quizzes! Which of their dining room chairs represents you emotionally?
• What really happened in Vegas. . . .
In The Amazing Book Is Not on Fire, Dan and Phil are candid, heartfelt, and hilarious. Their struggles and success haven't changed their strong friendship or their core belief that it's okay to be weird. The cat whiskers come from within!
This full-colour book is bursting with unseen photographs and drawings, making it an ideal gift for that hard-to-shop-for teen.

The first book by YouTube star Joe Sugg tells the story of Evie, a socially-isolated teenage girl who struggles to fit in at high school. Always looking for a way to escape, she spends her nights supporting her terminally-ill father, who is tirelessly working on a computer program. When her father passes away, Evie is forced to live with her aunt, uncle, and cousin—Mallory—who is the most popular girl in school and the bane of Evie's existence.
One night, as she's going through her father's computer, Evie stumbles on a strange file that sucks her into a virtual world. As Evie explores this strange, new land, she learns it was the project her father was working so tirelessly on: a virtual Eden where Evie can get away and be herself. However, Evie is not alone; Mallory also discovers the world and her presence causes the idyll to descend into chaos. Now Evie must save the virtual world or lose her last connection to her father.
5.)Binge by Tyler Oakley
This is another book I proudly own, and I can assure you that it's not for children.

Pop-culture phenomenon, social rights advocate, and the most prominent LGBTQ+ voice on YouTube, Tyler Oakley brings you his first collection of witty, personal, and hilarious essays.

For someone who made a career out of over-sharing on the Internet, Tyler has a shocking number of personal mishaps and shenanigans to reveal in his first book: experiencing a legitimate rage blackout in a Cheesecake Factory; negotiating a tense standoff with a White House official; crashing a car in front of his entire high school, in an Arby’s uniform; projectile vomiting while bartering with a grandmother; and so much more. In Binge, Tyler delivers his best untold, hilariously side-splitting moments with the trademark flair that made him a star.

Um...this is one of those books where you have to just go with it...

From the mind of PewDiePie, the #1 YouTuber in the world with 40 million fans and more than 10 billion views, comes This Book Loves You, a collection of beautifully illustrated inspirational thoughts and sayings. In This Book Loves You, PewDiePie delivers advice and wisdom that everyone can use. If all else fails, remember: "Don’t be yourself. Be a pizza. Everyone loves pizza."

10/10 get this book it's such a good read. If this inspires you to get a book and you're not sure, this one.

YouTube star Sprinkle of Glitter, also known as lifestyle and beauty vlogger Louise Pentland, offers a delightful guide to finding happiness and sprinkling positivity into every area of your life, from nights out with your friends to the trinkets you display on your vanity.

Aloha Sprinklerinos!

Louise Pentland leads a very happy life. That’s because she chooses to. Sure, she has dark and dreary days. But, as she has come to understand, the joy is all in your perspective. Happiness is not measured in size but in significance.

On her wildly popular YouTube channel, Sprinkle of Glitter, Louise talks a lot about changing the way we think. Her motto? Happiness is there for everyone: you just have to choose to face everything with a smile and positivity. It’s not just about the big things either—it’s about the tiny, intangible moments that make up the course of a lifetime and how to live that lifetime to the absolute fullest.

This book is like one of those glorious vintage shops where every surface is laden with treasure: cut glass, pill boxes, old cameras, pendants, and chests of drawers. Each chapter is a gem-encrusted tin that you can peep inside to discover fun topics such as glitz (beauty and pampering, traveling in style) and creativity (crafting, prettifying your room), to tougher topics such as bullying and body confidence, to the universal topic of love (dating, bonding with baby, being kind). Whether you take in tiny bits at a time or devour the book all in one go, Louise shares how she has learned to enrich her life, and you can too…with just a Sprinkle of Glitter. Toodlepip!

And that is my book bucket list so far! Obviously I will be adding onto this list as life goes on, but for now, I want to keep it small! Let me know if you guys have any book recommendations and I will check them out!

Stay sweet everyone!

The Vlogs!

Hello everyone! It's been so long since I last posted on this blog, but that's because I have a hard time writing in cold weather! Anyways, I have some exciting news: I'm starting a vlog series!

Now keep in mind kids, I left this blog in your hands and asked you guys what you wanted to see and what you wanted me to do, and this it! Someone has asked me to talk sexuality. Let's address the only question in your mind now: "is Pan gay?!"

Nope. Not homosexual. Not heterosexual. Not bisexual. Yep, I am in fact, asexual! Now, what exactly does asexual mean?

(of reproduction) not involving the fusion of gametes.

Um, this is not science class. Can we get the other definition please?

a person who has no sexual feelings or desires.

Thank you very much. Yes, I am asexual. I don't have sexual feelings or desires. This is a sexual orientation that not many people know of or confuse with abstinence/celibacy.

It was my sister who recommended I talk about this, and I think it's a good idea, so join me won't you!

During this time, if you have a question about anything, feel free to comment, even comment on this post if you'd like, and I will see you guys on Monday for Day 01!

Stay sweet everyone!

The Return!(Sort of...)

Hello everyone! I know, I've been away for I don't even know how long anymore, but please let me explain before you abandon me...

Basically: there will be nothing interesting happening in my life until about May. That being said, my blurbs have mainly been about things going on in my life, questions you guys ask me, and what absolutely hilarious yet cringe-worthy text post I find while scrolling on Tumblr at midnight. Anyways, I basically's more of...
I'm not an interesting person during the winter, okay please don't hate me - especially because I have a solution for this!

Tell me things you'd want to see posted. They can be anything and everything (as I'd like to think I'm a lifestyle blogger). In case you're confused as to what I'm saying, you can ask me to post about ANYTHING and I will try my best to post about it. It could be advice, design, a story about me, cooking - you can even ask for a video and I will do my best to record whatever you want me to.

That being said, I don't think there will just be three or four days that I post a blog, and instead it'll be everyday or every few days depending on what you guys want to see. This blog went from being centred around coming-of-age teens who might not know what young adulthood is all about to being whatever you guys want to see. Weird I know but hey, life is about seeing those around you happy and not about telling the internet unnecessarily long stories from my childhood that people can use to stalk me. *unintentional deep moment*

Anyways, leave comments asking for content, anything and everything within moderation will be accepted and I hope to hear read from you guys soon!

Stay sweet everyone!

The Future!

So I'm not gonna lie to you guys...I didn't really do much this week.
But what I did do this week was a lot of thinking, specifically where I want to take this madness that I spend my weekends doing. So, here are three things that can be expected:

Not a ton more vlogs, but I do want to do at least one vlog a week posted on my Facebook page. I would post these on YouTube, but that's an entirely different blurb for an entirely different day!

Life Updates
I realize that this lifestyle blog (yes, this is a lifestyle blog) hasn't been about much lifestyle lately, but that will change in a few month's time - there will be a lot of changes in my house in the coming months and I'll try my best to keep you guys up to speed on everything (because my life is so interesting...)

Question Corner with Marzipan
This is something I want to keep going, and there will be a video I'll put on Facebook probably tomorrow or Saturday answering a question my mum asked me the other day, but I just don't have anymore questions to answer, so all I can do is remain hopeful!

Something I think you guys should know is that even if most content in the future ends up being vlogs, if there are things I don't want to speak of and instead write about (which sidenote just gave me another blog idea), I'll do that.

Stay sweet everyone!
